THE NAGU SPIRIT

Nagu Distillery is located in the old Flipper Boats factory in Nagu. Nagu is a group of islands of the coast of southwestern Finland. The distillery was founded in 1996 but has been idle for some years until it was resurrected by two childhood friends who was looking to make a return to the islands they both grew up on.

In June 2019 our first spirit was launched, a “Small Batch Dry Gin” that contains the essence of the rugged archipelago.

Summer 2020 we added two more products:

“Oak Aged Gin” The oak barrel makes the taste sweeter, softer and more exquisite, it’s sippable.

“Akvavit” Light notes of caraway and dill seeds brings forth the summer in autumn.

2021 we added a new “Midsummer Gin” to our family. This fresh and floral dry gin is a tribute to the Finnish midsummer.
